TRAVEL

TRAVEL is the first book created by the Printmakers’ Network of Southern New England. Begun in 2006, Travel is a collaborative effort between fifteen printmakers and three regional poets: Kim Bridgeford, Vivian Shipley and Sue Standing. Words pertaining to travel were the inspiration for both artists and poets. This original work is printed on Hahnemuhle Copperplate etching paper and showcases a variety of printmaking processes and techniques. Travel is presented as three separate accordion books which are housed in a slipcase measuring 11.25″ X 11.50″. The book was published in 2009 in an edition of 30.
